Hello! My name is Jennifer Ledbetter, but in the online marketing community, I am known as PotPieGirl. I run a popular online marketing blog over at PotPieGirl.com where I do my best to share the knowledge I have accumulated and pass it along in a complete, easy to understand manner.

In my opinion, knowledge is useless unless it is shared.

I’ve been working online for some time now and I love every second of it. I believe that anyone with a computer and an internet connection should learn how to make income online. It truly can change your life.

When I started looking to my computer to start earning a living, I knew very, very little. Yes, I knew how to navigate the internet, send email, and other common online tasks. However, when it came to online marketing, I knew just about nothing. Internet marketing was worse than a foreign language to me, but I was determined to learn to speak the language.

I spent a solid year - 12 to 14 hours a day - in front of my computer learning… self-educating… making mistakes…researching…re-learning and making more mistakes. Before I went through any formal internet marketing education, I graduated from the online marketing school of hard knocks!

While I was learning, I couldn’t seem to find a website where questions were truly answered… and answered completely. I couldn’t find a good system that didn’t cost me an arm and a leg….and $297 =) I became over-whelmed with the info over-load. I became frustrated with not knowing WHICH information to trust. I also became flat-out annoyed with the huge push to sell un-needed systems and programs to those that are new to online marketing.

I vowed right then to never be one of those people.

Reality #1 of Internet Marketing - You do NOT have to spend money to MAKE money online.

Reality #2 of Internet Marketing - At some point, with any business you choose to own, you will need to make acceptable investments in yourself.

I am a firm believer that anyone new to internet marketing should learn WITHOUT using their credit card. There is plenty of free information on the internet that can help guide you. I am also a firm believer that once you ‘get your head around’ this online stuff, and you start to see the beginnings of income coming in, that it is time to own virtual real estate and get your online business growing and making you multiple streams of passive income.

Yes, it takes money to make money, but it does NOT take money to START making money online.

What makes me qualified to teach others how to make niche websites?

Because I was willing to do for a year what others won’t, I am now able to work from home (with my family). I don’t pay those outrageous gas prices just to get to a job. I control my work hours. My business goes where ever I go. And the best part of all…

I still make good money even when I am not working.

Even if I turn this computer off and walk away for a month… a year… or longer… I WILL STILL BE MAKING MONEY.

I dread saying anything as ‘hypey’ as “I make money while I sleep”, but…. I do.
