“R” is for Repeat - Step Six

Filed Under RICHER Niche Site Steps |

Step 6 - ‘R’ is for Repeat, Repeat, REPEAT! Welcome to 6 Step Niche Sites with PotPieGirl. If you’re visiting us for the first time, we are learning how to make WordPress Niche Sites. Why not start at the beginning and take it from the top. All this great information will be ready for you when YOU are ready for IT.

Ok folks, you made it to Step 6! Stand up, take a bow… pat yourself on the back… buy yourself a drink or a new pair of shoes…. or heck, just take a nap! YOU DID IT!

The first niche site is the hardest…and now you’ve done that! Remember feeling a bit intimidated by the whole process? Guess what? NO MORE! You OWN this system now! Whether it took you a week or 6 months to go through this whole process simply does not matter. You Did It.

The Most Important Thing About WordPress Niche Sites

Now, as we are here at Step 6, we are going to talk about the most important element of building niche sites. KEEP MAKING THEM! After you complete each Step 4 (aka Hell Day) and you’re letting the new niche site ’simmer’ - get to researching and creating another niche website.

You can’t have TOO MANY niche websites :)

Each subsequent niche site you build will be better, because YOU will get better. Each site will be easier to create, too. If every person took the time and put forth the effort as you have, there would be a lot fewer people in the world over-whelmed with bills, the economy, and gas prices. If you can build enough web sites just to pay for your gas each month, tell me, what is that worth to you?

Keep making niche sites.

How I Decide What Topics To Create My Niche Sites On

People think I am nuts, I have so many Squidoo lenses that range in topics from A to Z. Why in the world do I do that? Think about it for a minute now that you have read my niche site system.

I am a FIRM believer that anyone can make money online without a website, without a list, and without money to invest. I have proven that, and I teach others how to do that with my Squidoo Profit System (or All About Squidoo).

But let’s talk about that a bit more…

You come online and learn how to use Squidoo to market online and you make some money. You now have two things -

a) You have revenue coming in from Squidoo that you can now RE-invest into your online business (and you invested none of your household income on that business), and

b) You now have a LOT of little one-page websites and each of these Squidoo lenses is gathering niche keyword research FOR you.

I can just about promise you this - if you have a Squidoo lens that is making any money at all through affiliate sales, creating a WordPress niche blog site to go along with it WILL make you MORE money. AND, you most likely already have Page Rank on that Squidoo lens that will count as a powerful link to your new niche site.

All the information and research you need is right at your fingertips on your Squidoo dashboard.

Now, are you still wondering why I have SO many Squidoo lenses? :)

Other Ways I Get Ideas for Niche Sites

My brain usually is in over-drive. Besides online marketing, I also run a successful and affordable website optimization company. My online marketing has become that cool thing that makes checks show up in the mail box and puts money in my PayPal account =) I still try to make niche sites whenever I get the chance. I get my ideas from TV, from magazines, from walking around stores, from the newspaper…. sometimes I come across a great online product and I develop the niche site all around the product.

Sometimes, I just mess around with the SEOBook keyword tool and find little words and phrases that spark my interest. Niche ideas are EVERYWHERE. Just stop reading for a second and look around you. Think anyone else would want to buy a computer like yours? Think someone else collects baseball hats or loves candles? If you are in the process of potty-training your two-year-old, or building a deck, or refinishing your cabinets, or creating a home office space…. don’t you think others are, too? Don’t put so much pressure on yourself to find that million dollar niche…. just find solid niche ideas and find those little keywords that will let you enter the market.

There are three basic, and life-changing, things I learned about online marketing…

1) The less pressure you put on yourself, the better you will do.

2) The less you try to sell, the more you will make.

3) The more you give, the more you will receive back.

Don’t get all caught up in dollar amounts, stats, and Page Rank…. get caught up in the quality of your life.

Can I just say that you’re so good it hurts? I seriously hope the world is providing you with everything you want because I really think your content speaks to a lot of people who really want to achieve success in this arena but are having a hard time really making it come together.

I’ve just returned from teaching English in China which is my dream job that I’m actually good at but I had to return home to the US so that I could work on paying off my student loans. Unfortunately this type teaching pays next to nothing especially considering the amount of student loans I have (which of course would have been much better spent buying your product suggestions and any products you ever come up with) I left behind a potential love interest, students who email me everyday, coworkers that make every day amazing, and more friends whom I miss so much. I’m filled with fire and passion to make this happen and I’m so thankful to have found you online. I now believe that I won’t have to get a job that I hate and not be able to return to the life that I loved.

I would and probably will buy anything and everything you tell me to…haha. I can honestly say that everything you wrote just brought tears to my eyes. If you ever needed anyone to help, volunteer, write, watch grass grow, I’d love it if you’d contact me. I really respect what you’ve put out in the world and you’ve inspired me beyond belief. I hope I can teach others these things in the future.

The universe IS good to me, Carter =)

    What’s the saying?

“I have an infinite amount of love available to me. I have everything I need, and the things I want will come to me when I am ready to receive them…”

Don’t remember where I read or heard that, but I love it!

I’m crossing my fingers for you so you can get back on track of your dreams and get back to the life you loved so much. Good thing about an online business, it goes where YOU go (as long as there is an internet connection!)

I don’t really need any help watching the grass grow…been SO dry here in the Atlanta area! BUT, you CAN help me by sticking around, asking questions, and making it happen. Then, share it with someone else.

There are NO secrets to all this. There simply are things you just don’t know YET.

Carter, your comment has brought tears to MY eyes. It gets a little quiet in this business. I type and I type…and sometimes I wonder if anyone is out there. Thank you for being my daily dose of inspiration!

    Jennifer

I mirror what has been said here already. I am a big believer of playing it forward. I am in the passion business and I am passionate about what I do.

I have suffered so many losses over the past few years that it is sometimes very hard to put my head back into my work. So I spend my evenings finding helpful sites, inspirational sites run by inspirational women. I found one here.

You have a fan in Canada, I am following you on Twitter and hope to be able to chat one day as we cross paths in the WA forum

    Hi Jennifer,

    I echo the above comments…

I followed your advice and less than one month (in fact 22days) my first niche website was holding and still holds 1st and 2nd position on Google and earns money! Not to shabby eh?

And it is not even finished yet!

A HUGE thank you to you and your recommendation to Mark’s Wordpress Goldmine.

Your other recommendation to Host Gator also excellent.

Anyone else who reads this…take note of what this generous girl tells you :-)

    Hi again Jennifer,

Typical of my sometimes “mile-a-minute brain” I forgot to add that I am off to repeat the process of course :-)

I just a have a question, is there anyway to do the 6 step thing without spending the money on the other things you say we must buy, I just lost my job, I really don’t have $67.00. I really would like to get started making some money, but if I don’t have it to spend am I just out of luck.

Bella - not sure if you still come around here to read this post - but Jennifer has put together a great guide in the One Week Marketing plan. It is $49 or something like that, but after that, you can get started without any other money. She recommends that you might spend $1.99 (which with GoDaddy is on sale right now for $1.19), but other than that, the one week marketing plan will get you started for free.

I am sure you can find the link to her product on here or on her potpiegirl.com website. I am currently working through it. Just stick with it, and I know you will have success.

I was a member of WA before and accidentally read one of your post because of another post saying her mother earned her first on line income using ONE WEEK MARKETING. I have been a follower of you since then. I have been reading and read a lot on how generous you are in helping others to succeed in their quest for internet money.

I could have written that post by Mr Carter here. To add to his post, all informations that you share with your readers are always of use and helpful. You kept telling that you are not a “guru”. But for me, you are the “GURUS OF ALL GURUS”. You are very informative and always willing to share the knowledge you have acquired along the way to others, before you reached your present status.

And most all that admired from you is your…HEART. Because if you do not have a heart, you will just keep to yourself whatever you have learned and acquired alond the way to your success.

All newbies like me and other unsuccessful internet marketers should always be grateful that we have somebody like you Ms Potpiegirl who is always willing and able to share her internet marketing knowledge to everyone who is asking for it.(And willing to learn as she have said in her posts)

Thank you Ms Jennifer Ledbetter! (I hope I spelled your full name correctly)

    You are such an INSPIRATION!

I am flat broke but willing to start again and follow you. But I am confused now which one I will buy first… ONE WEEK MARKETING or WORDPRESS GOLDMINE? Please comment.

    Thanks again.

Terrific Article and You are Solid! May you hit your millions of dollars and happiness :D

  13. EH on June 18th, 2009 11:36 am

    Hi PotPieGirl,

First of all WOW! these steps are super!
I followed these steps and getting traffic the next day! I choose the keywords and after that check my stats and there shows the keywords I am looking for , not totally the same by visitors coming in. And the readme articles in your steps are critical also!
    Super Solid.
But i have a question if i were to develop so many niche sites, who to come out with so many articles and my knowledge in those new niche are limited :( any advice???

Now i have some traffics from google but there are no conversions yet. Still pumping into squidoo and other social bookmarking sites, great to give me the ranks in page1 of good, I was very happy.

How about the monetizing part? I am having difficulties in making the prospective buyers buy from my site, and my adsense is limited also.

    Cheers
    EH
