Welcome to 6 Step Niche Sites
Filed Under RICHER Niche Site System |
Welcome to 6StepNicheSites.com! I’m so glad you’re here. Hopefully, you are looking to learn how to create easy WordPress niche sites that are PROFITABLE - cause that is what you’ll be learning here today! My name is PotPieGirl (from PotPieGirl.com), and I am about to share with you the simple system I use day after day to create small niche blogs using WordPress.
Are you ready to put together the pieces of this puzzle called internet marketing? Most of you that visit here already have a solid and basic understanding of how internet marketing and affiliate marketing works. You most likely have a Clickbank account, have learned about keywords, understand AdSense… perhaps you’ve already made a few bucks online. That’s great - and that is exactly what I need you to know to get started with me here today.
However, if you’re not quite ‘there’ yet with your understanding of internet marketing, that’s ok! While you may not be ready for the 6 Step Niche System today, you will be soon! And guess what? I’m not going anywhere. This information will be ready for you when YOU are ready for IT!
While we will not be jumping in the proverbial deep end of online marketing, we will be discussing things that are a tad more advanced. Frustration is a killer, so take it slow or at whatever pace you feel comfortable. Each niche site you create will get easier and easier… I promise!
You will be required to make a few investments into your online business with this free tutorial. There are certain things you must have to create these niche sites, and a certain system for creating them that I need to know all participants understand.
How much? That depends on you and how many sites you want to create this first month. As a rough estimate, I would say that all your materials for four niche websites will not cost you more than $100 the first month. After the first month, you can make 4 more niche sites each month that follows for less than $40.
I am all about free, but I realize there comes a time in an internet marketers career when he/she has got to invest in the right tools and services for their business. If you feel it is time for YOU to invest and move your business forward to where it works when YOU DON’T, then keep reading…..
Let’s get started!
I have nicknamed this system the RICHER 6 Step Niche Sites System. Why RICHER? Well, first off… don’t we all want to be a little richer? =) Of course we do! With these gas prices, we all sure can use a few extra bucks.
Mainly, RICHER is an acronym for the 6 steps that are involved in creating WordPress niche sites.
R - Research
I - Invest and Install
C - Create
H - Hell Day (sorry, but I detest this step…lol)
E - Evaluate
R - Repeat, Repeat, Repeat!
This system took me a while to get right. I would say that it is ‘perfected’, but there is no such thing as perfect. However, I can promise you this… IT WORKS.
A few notes:
If you are intimidated of having your own websites, or your own hosting, or installing your own blogs, or ANY of that stuff that is new to you - it is time to let it go. You are perfectly capable of having not only ONE of your own niche sites, but MANY!
Owning your own profit-pulling niche websites on the internet is the key to making money online - passive income. Even a two or three-page niche site can make you good money long after you stopped working on it. I am NOT going to have you creating monsterous websites that are over-whelming with no end to the work in site. We are going to start off creating small ( 5-10 pages) niche sites and letting them start earning you money online while you are working on other things… or DOING other things.
If you are afraid to make mistakes - let that go, too. Mistakes are a sure-fire way to see that you are learning. I’ve got a bunch of crappy websites out there that I am certainly not proud of. Guess I could delete them, right? NO WAY! I love to go back and see how much I’ve learned…and in time, I fix them up.
Relax, take a deep breath…..
Let’s make niche sites!

OK Ms PotPieGirl:
I’m putting my trust in you that you’re gonna lead me right. I just signed another 6 month contract over here in Korea where I teach English.
I’m 64 next month and I’ve set a goal that I need to make my first few hundered bucks on the net in the next two months and I need to be up to a minimum of $3k @ month by December 08.
That’s all it’ll take for me to not have to ask anybody else if I can work for them. Once I get to the point where I work for myself and am in control of my time, then I know I’ll grow rapidly from there.
Quiet honestly, if I could get up to around $6-8K a month, I probably wouldn’t work (i.e. beyond maintaining what I’ve got at that point). I mean, how much money does it take to enjoy life and go salsa dancing at the best clubs around the world?
Not that much, really.
Best regards,
Art Williams

@ Art -
Glad you’re here!
I’m not a Salsa dancer (yet…lol), but dancing around the world sounds like a lot of fun!

Oh boy, I am SO ready for this…you’re the best, Jennifer!
You are doing great things, and I (and I am sure, many other people) do thank you. I am currently trying to live on Social Security (impossible), and trying to get up enough nerve (and an paralized by lack of knowledge) to start an on-line business. This should do it.
@Cheryl - Thank you! Hopefully, this site will give you some steps in the right direction! Let me know if I can be of help =)
@Jim - Jim, I’m SO glad you are getting something out of the site. ANY extra income that comes into a household these days is PRICELESS… I wish everyone would figure out that an online business of some sort can REALLY help for the long term. I wish you the best of luck and I am here if you need help. THANK YOU!

Excellent step-by-step system for anyone to follow. Thank you so much.
I’m starting to layout my site and have a couple of questions…
- Do you use a static front page (wp option)?
- Your article page…is it the blog roll with custom title and links to pages?
Thank You,
Jeff
@ Jeff
Hi Jeff, glad you’re here! Thanks for the kind words!
No, I do not use a static front page (at least I haven’t as of yet).
On this blog, the blog roll is links out to other sites. My articles list is under the ‘recent posts’ option.
That help?
Thanks for reading!
Jennifer
Another question Jennifer -
Thanks for your input from my previous question.
- How do you set up your permalink structure? category/title, postname, etc.
- I currently use category/postname & am thinking of changing to postname (I only have 1 post on my site as I’m just starting it out).
Thanks,
Jeff
@ Jeff
I prefer to use just %postname% for my niche sites. In my opinion, it is a MUST to have the post name in the url (as opposed to that page?=14 or whatever default thing WordPress does).
I tend to not use the category on my niche sites because I am a bit afraid of looking keyword ’stuffed’. Usually, my domain name has my keywords, the url has my keywords…and my categories are optimized, too. I’m simply afraid that it is too much.
Just my two cents!
Jennifer
“When the student is ready the teacher will appear.” I just finished setting up a Wordpress blog for the first time last night before I got your email message about the 6 Step Niche Sites. Thank you for this wonderful information. It is exactly what I am looking for.
I have all the necessary tools except Wordpress Goldmine, which I will purchase tomorrow.
Jennifer, you are so generous and honest. I have never been disappointed with anything you recommend.
We always receive a hundred times more that we give.
Gratefully,
Linda
I really think your site is great! Here is my question, how many blogs can you build with just 1 domain, or do you need multiple domain names for each blog using hostgator? Thank you
Greetings from NB. Well, at 53 with four teen kids (uhhhh…that’s four TEEN kids, not “14″..hehe), I am ready to extend my mid-life crisis and learn and earn. I keep reading how society needs and values the ‘mature’ worker for his/her life experiences, yet only pays them $11.25/hour, down HERE, anyway. Thus, a switch to IM. Now a member of WA, CLickBank, so..the substructure is in place, but hitting a few roadblocks. I’ll try to hang in here so really appreciate the knowledge and patience.
I think it was a blessing to have found you. My world has recently been turned upside down and I need a fresh beginning.
I have been trying to make a living on the internet for 2 years now with little success. I try to follow all the big guys and just get more in debt buying stuff I can’t make work.
It’s a delight to find someone down to earth and willing to help.
I am getting started today and setting a goal to make my first $100 in 45 days.
